Description

It contains Echinacea (which may support immune function and decrease the frequency and symptoms of influenza and the common cold); andrographies (which can assist in decreasing the symptoms of cold and influenza); vitamin C (which provides relief from the symptoms of colds and reduce the duration and severity of colds); beta-carotene (which is a precursor to vitamin A which aids the immune system and maintains the health of the respiratory tract); zinc (an important factor in maintaining a healthy immune system); and garlic (traditionally used manage small respiratory infections and catarrhal conditions).
It also acts as an antioxidant.

Active Ingredients:

Each tablet contains:
Echinacea purpurea (Echinacea) extract equiv. to dry root and rhizome 600mg Echinacea angustifolia (Echinacea) extract equiv. to dry root 600mg Andrographis paniculata (Andrographis) extract equiv. to dry leaf (standardized to contain andrographolides 25mg) 1g (1000mg) Ascorbic acid (Vitamin C) 500mg Allium sativum (Garlic) deodorized freeze-dried powder equiv. to fresh bulb (standardized to contain alliin 1.3mg) 500mg 166.7mg Natural Beta-carotene 3mg Pantothenic acid (Vitamin B5) (from calcium pantothenate 55mg) 50.3mg d-alpha Tocopheryl acid succinate (Vitamin E 100IU) 82.6mg Pyridoxine hydrochloride (Vitamin B6) 25mg Zinc amino acid chelate (Zinc 5mg) 25mg

Adverse Effects:

May occasionally cause mild gastrointestinal symptoms at treatment dosage.

Dosage:

Adults – Preventative Dose: Take 1 tablet daily with main meal. Treatment Dose: Take 1 tablet 3 times per day with meals, or as professionally prescribed.

Children – For children under 12 years we recommend Blackmores Cold Defence for Kids.

Warnings:

Discontinue at least 2 weeks prior to surgery (garlic may increase the risk of bleeding associated with surgery)
