Description

VERMOX tablets contain an ingredient called Merbendazole which is highly effective against threadworms. These tablets are easy-to-take and come as orange & chocolate flavoured tablets or banana flavoured liquid that kids love.

Just one dose once can kill threadworms. It’s dead simple! There’s no need for weighing and no messy mixing.

Vermox tablets are available in packs of 2 tablets, 4 tablets, 6 tablets and as a 15mL suspension.

Signs and Symptoms of threadworm infestation include:

The presence of tiny white threads around the anal region
Itching around the Anus and Vagina
Restless Sleep, grinding of teeth and irritability.

Before treating for threadworm, evidence of infestation should be present. If a household member has threadworms, then each member should be treated, children and adults.

Which worms are Vermox effective against?

Threadworms are the only common worms that infect humans in New Zealand and Australia. Rare worms such as whipworm, roundworm and hookworm are not a problem in this country.

If you suspect a rare worm infection, check with your doctor or pharmacist. If diagnosed with a rare worm infection, Vermox may be used for treatment as it is also formulated to kill whipworm, roundworm and hookworm as well as threadworm.
